Thinking about it, I would imagine the best way to handle this would be to wait until the end of the 2010- 11 season because that is a big senior class and if they can't suceed than to me thats the tell all sign. I don't think he is that close, but the losses to Maine, URI, St Joe's, and Harvard tell me that he has a problem motivating his players. I think the two road games to start the season are the best things that could've happened for this team becuase they play better on the road and against tougher opponents, sometimes playing at Conte is what kills them. In terms of Sutton, when you look at where the OSU program was compared to BC's when Sutton took over than I would say OSU definitley had a better program, but it wouldn't be the same as OSU because w/ his fathers legacy at Ok State, it made things very hard. I would say BC really could only upgrade in terms of recruiting and taking a team to the next level because Skinners teams have been consistently ok...I like to compare them to the Oakland A's of baseball, they are perfectly content getting 2nd or 3rd place every year, as long as they make the playoffs every now and then, while they've had the chances to make a title run, for BC that would be the ACC title. ... more » « less

The next two games will be telling- - on the road against Clemson and Duke. If BC wants to dance, I gotta think they need to bag a quality win. I'm not sure about Sutton. First, does he have the experience BC might want in a coaching upgrade? Second, is BC that big a jump from Oklahoma State, where Scott's dad is a legend? Do you think Skinner is really that close to being done? ... more » « less

I think its time for Al Skinner to go...great coach, done good things for BC, but they have gotten progressivly worse since the sweet 16 run, and things like that aren't suppossed to happen. This junior class was suppossed to do big things, but they are proving not to as of now... What about Sean Sutton, not looking to coach a big time program, but a good program, isn't BC the perfect fit? ... more » « less

I've always liked this team- - even when they disappoint. But the NC win/Harvard loss pretty much says it all about BC for me. I wouldn't necessarily count them out this year, but they'll definitely be a stronger contender next year.

Hey BC fans...what do you think BC will do this year? I thought this would be the year that they would return to dominance in the ACC, but it looks like next year now with jackson filling in for rice next year...there is no doubt that the future is bright at BC...BC will win when Sanders, Trapani, Rice, Raji, and Jackson have solid games...2009- 10 starting lineup: Jackson, Sanders, Trapani, Raji, Southern...BC needs a big man, Southern looks lost out there. ... more » « less
