How tough would it be to put together a spreadsheet of team stats consisting of each teams last 5- 10 games?

It seems to me that taking a full year worth of stats into consideration to try to find trends/ correlations might be a little misleading. For example if that team plays a lot of cupcakes in the pre- conference schedule, it could skew their overall averages. Likewise, if a team is starting to struggle down the stretch due to injuries or fatigue, this might not show up in the full season stats (except for past 10 game record).

I'm a huge Pitt fan and am still somewhat in shock over the Butler debacle. Nevertheless, after watching 90% of their games this year, it was obvious that they were struggling defensively down the stretch and also starting to rely too heavily on Gibbs for their scoring. This was not the case in their first ~ 20 games. There were teams, like Butler, on the flipside that found their defense half way through the season.

Clearly, an entire season worth of stats is valuable for pre- conference games and evaluating how the conferences stack up against each other. However, I think it might make sense to include a "Last 5" or "Last 10" set of stats to also compare.
