Six of the 125 teams that meet these criteria lost in the first round. The most celebrated was 1993 2 seed Arizona, which lost to Steve Nash's 15 seed Santa Clara squad. 25 of the remaining 119 teams bowed out in round two. The most recent was Duke last year. The last one seed to fall in round two was Stanford in 2000. Overall, the group owns a +.255 PASE, which means they exceed seed expectations by about a quarter of a game per tourney.
