Gary - I used the toss- up head to head rules for the FInal Four, as I committed to in the strategy. Kentucky was closer to Houston than Duke. It's kind of a bad technicality to exclude Duke...but I decided to apply those rules- - and I'm stuck with the decision. I take it you used the advanced rules. Remember: these models are for guidance only- - if you want to go your own way, that's the best strategy.

Pete,

For the Final Four/ Champs rules. Kentucky, Duke, Pitt and Kansas are the final four teams. I get DUKE as the champion not Kentucky.

From there the following apply
Eliminate teams that score fewer than 75 or allow more than 79 points a game. PITT out

Kentucky actually won eight of their last ten:

One of my ever- diligent members, Geoff, pointed out that I got the Kentucky last 10 win totals wrong. I had it as seven wins in the last ten. It's actually eight. I will be uploading the new sheet in moments.
